Road Safety

We have a bunch of new and excited learners this term!  What better way to start it off than by making sure we can all get to school safely?

We've been lucky to have Constable Jamison and Ronald McDonald coming to visit us.  The key things they said:

  • STOP, LOOK and LISTEN before you cross the street, use your eyes, use your ears, before you use your feet.
  • Look out for sneaky driveways!!
  • When you're in the car you need to Make it Click!! (Put on your seatbelt!)
Constable Jamison also took us around our school and explained the dangers of carparks, and how to cross safely at the lights.  Here are some pictures of our learning.

Stopping and checking there are no cars coming out of sneaky drive ways.

Crossing at the pedestrian crossing to school.

Here's Ronald, with one of our awesome road patrollers.
